i promised not to update.
oh well.
so as i was driving over the bridge admiring the lights the song "Une Année Sans Lumière" by the Arcade Fire reached the 2:45 mark and it got all upbeat and exciting.
and the window was just filled with lights and water and beauty.
i think for once in my life, i am happy.
i thank my stars for such loyal friends, and such wonderful new additions to my life.
i hope you all understand that if it wasn't for each little one of you my world would not be as it is. and right now it is complete.
driving home i wanted to get hit by a car, i wanted something to come and ruin the wonderous beauty that was life at that second of time.
nothing did. and i feel ever the more blessed.
I think for at least two more weeks I will stay happy. Valentine's Day seems like it will be wonderful (Brandi, i am making you the most wonderful things, i hope you enjoy them. <3) and I think that being around new friends will be the juice i need to start this year off right.
I guess the most important lesson i think i learned is this:
After almost a year of pain, and festering wounds i am healed.
I don't love you anymore.
This is a good thing, and i hope it doesn't sound rude.
After three months of sadness and dangerous thoughts I am over you.
You are free to live your life with your new friends.
I still love you, but am happy that you found the person who will treat you the way i never could have.
I will just fade away into that 'just a friend' status we were two seasons ago when everything felt perfect.
that's it.
for this second in time, everything is perfect.
everything is beautiful.
and nothing hurt.

FRIDAY:
Olive Garden is semi-expensive, yet good.
Dave has the mouth of a sailor, and if little kids are around he is helarious.
Making people sing for you is fun.
If your child is named 'Jackhammer' he/she will win on Global Guts(rip).
Irish Car-Bombs aren't just acts of terrorism.
Dinosaurs like to go 'chomp chomp'! (yeah!)
it's actually easy to fall asleep whe Josh Lewis is making out right beside you.

SATURDAY:
waking up at seven after going to sleep at five isn't that hard.
